Claire Rhodes Stevenson is an artist working in paintings, prints, drawings, mixed media and handmade paper. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in painting and drawing from The George Washington University with studio courses taught by the faculty of the Corcoran School of Art, and a Master of Arts in museum education from The College of William and Mary.
Other studies include printmaking at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, papermaking at the Southwest School of Art, and painting with Alberto Mijangos in San Antonio, Texas.
She lives, works and teaches at New Fawn, a complex of house, studio and gardens in the Texas Hill Country village of Bulverde near San Antonio.
